The objective of the One Library Place project was to overhaul the exterior envelope by eliminating any concrete or brick cracking, spalling, or staining, as well as to correct any affected mortar and sealant conditions. Investigation and subsequent repair eliminated possible water and/or moisture infiltration to the building’s interior. Removal and replacement of roofing and flashing at high roof and elevator penthouse, bay window external panel replacement, and exterior balcony deck roofing at lower levels was also fundamental to prevent moisture infiltration. New windows and doors were installed as well as a new accessible entrance with rain canopy.
